For starters I have of course finished my Midna cosplay since my last post so I will display a little picture for everyone
I got to meet my Dandy in person (Ian Sinclair), went to the best panel that has ever existed called "Improv Improv", and got to go to my first vocaloid concert. Let me just say that "project diva" is not a lie because miss miku was an hour and thirty minutes late for her own concert! Good thing it was a lit stage performance.
I've been super ill since kamicon with major pain throughout my whooole body but i'm getting better as of this post date.
I'm focusing a lot more on my cosplay group, SinisterSoulCosplay, this year after realizing somethings and cutting out negative things that were no longer worth my time, dedication, and hard work. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches thrown at you in life and show the backstabbers that you will always be better than them and keep your head up!!!
I'm super excited to finally be getting photos of midna, I will send them off to cosplayzine when I get them back.
If I can take a moment to reflect I would personally like to express my gratitude for my photographer, Becky. She honestly gave me my start when I wanted to get my name out in the community and her amazing photography is getting me noticed and it gives me such joy I'm really thankful for her and I'm even more thankful that she has my back when it comes to unfair treatment. Sometimes I'm not very good at expressing myself but I have people who help me see what I can not and that makes me happy.
I also want to thank one of my biggest supporters, kyle. I got the chance to meet him and his dad this past weekend and he is really awesome and just getting his start in the wonderful world of cosplay. It feels pretty cool to get noticed at conventions, I had about 3 people know who I was, my jaw basically dropped.
Love what you do and Do what you love..
